Problem: I have over ten thousand MP3 files scattered all over my hard drive and even some on my network drives. Therefore, it takes a long time to find the songs that I want to play.
Solution: Tunopia can scan any designated drives or folders for music files. Afterwards, you only need to enter the first few characters of the song’s title (or artist, genre, album, or custom keywords) and Tunopia will immediately (as you type) update the list of the relevant search results. You should be able to find just about any song in your ten thousand song collection in less than ten seconds.
Problem: I have songs that are suitable for when I work out, songs that are great for when I have guests over, and songs that my kids like to listen to. Is there a way to call up songs for these events without having to manually create play lists or open individual files?
Solution: Tunopia lets you tag songs with any keyword that you can think of. In this case, you can tag songs with words like “workout”, “guests”, and “kids”. When you need to play the songs, type in the appropriate keyword and all the songs you tagged with that word will appear.
Problem: Periodically, I will convert my new CDs to MP3 format. I would like a simple way to play just the new songs.
Solution: Let Tunopia scan the folders where the new MP3 files are located. Tunopia will add the new files into its music database. Thereafter, sort the Songs list by Data Added or filter the list by Recent Additions. You will see all of the most recently added MP3 files.
Problem: I would like to play my favorite songs without having to hand-pick each one.
Solution: Use Tunopia’s filtering feature to filter by Most Popular Songs. This will show all songs that have been played more that three times. Tunopia also lets you redefine what popular means by letting you adjust the play count from three to any other number.
Problem: Since my MP3 collection is so large, updating my portable MP3 player with new songs is a time consuming process. Is there an easier way to copy the songs I want without spending a lot of time browsing through my collection?
Solution: Tunopia’s Copy Wizard will copy batches of files to other folders. It lets you determine the amount of songs (in terms of disk size) that you want to copy and can automatically select songs based on various conditions like song popularity, recent additions, songs associated with a certain keyword, or songs that you have manually selected into the current playlist.
Problem: I wake up at 7AM every morning. Is there a way to automatically play songs at this time?
Solution: Use Tunopia’s scheduler to automatically play songs based on keywords. Tag the songs you want to play with a word like “wakeup” and add that keyword to the schedule. You can also specify a lower volume for playing those songs at that time.
Is there a solution you are seeking that Tunopia does not cover? If so, please tell us about it so that we can make Tunopia the perfect solution for all of your music player needs.
